"We really enjoyed Casa Mariposa. Perfect for a couple. Good location with several good restaurants within a mile or two. The Starlight Theatre, Bar and Grill has amazing food, and we caught some great live music when there. The bed was really comfortable, which is a must after a full day of hiking. The A/C's cranked, which is also a must. I was concerned that we would be too far from the good hiking, but that was not true. We were within 30 min to 1 hour of the best hiking in the park. "We had a lovely stay in this little bungalow. It had everything you need for a visit. We visited both BBNP and the state park nearby (don't forget to visit that). A little coffee maker to brew some coffee was wonderful as an afternoon pick-me-up after a long morning of hiking, along with a mini-fridge to hold the basic necessities. "We had a great stay at the Mariscal house at Fossil Knob Ridge. Secluded, peaceful and quiet. The property is 100% as advertised. Don't let the rough road on the way in fool you...this is a hidden gem."

"The Creek house was exactly as listed. The porch alone is worth the stay with great views of Terlingua Creek. We enjoyed evenings with the fire pit and sky views. Exactly what we need in the desert, nothing fancy but comfortable and easy access to BBNP. "

Loved it all!

"We had a great time and loved this property. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! We have two dogs, and we enjoyed being able to have them join us. The cantina/kitchen is well appointed and has everything in stock that you need. They even have full breakfast supplies of coffee, water, waffles, bagels, cream cheese, and a few other options. The room was very nice and comfortable. The water gets HOT which is nice after a full day of hiking. The views are spectacular in the morning and evening. There's nice chairs and fire pits to enjoy the sunset too. There was ample opportunity to interact with other guests if you choose. We really enjoyed the solitude and kept to ourselves and appreciated the chance to take full advantage of it."
