Lajitas Casa Grande is conveniently located in the resort community of Lajitas but is not affiliated with the resort. Guests normally have access to the golf course, restaurants, and more. Easy access to Big Bend National Park, Big Bend Ranch State Park, and Terlingua Ghost Town.

Lajitas Texas has long been known as "the ultimate hideout". This remote resort community offers first class comforts among the rugged mountains of Big Bend. Lajitas Casa Grande continues that tradition with a spacious four-bedroom home for your family or group.

Lajitas Casa Grande is ideally located for easy access to resort facilities in Lajitas (except the resort pool) and adventures throughout the Big Bend. Please note that at particularly busy times, the resort may limit access to the golf course, dining options, or other resort amenities. We recommend that guests check with Lajitas Resort to verify access to any resort amenities they may plan to utilize. Enjoy world-class golfing at Black Jack's Crossing. Pamper yourself at the Agave Spa. Saddle up at the Equestrian Center. Visit the famous Terlingua Ghost town. Ride the rapids along the Rio Grande. Or venture into Big Bend National Park or Big Bend Ranch State Park.

When you’re not busy enjoying the amenities of the resort or the adventures of the mountains and desert, you and your family or group will have plenty of space to relax and unwind at Casa Grande. The large living room, open dining room, and well stocked kitchen provide ample indoor space for hanging out in air-conditioned comfort. The front porch and rear decks are great for relaxing outside while enjoying mountain scenery, breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, or mesmerizing starry nights. The four bedrooms are comfortably furnished with high quality beds and linens for a great night’s sleep. Two full bathrooms add to the convenience. Various books and games are provided for everyone’s enjoyment.

The property was clean, close to the road but felt isolated and by yourself. It was well stocked and the owners thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. Great stargazing and access to hiking (both National and State Park). Can’t wait to come again!

Great house close to BBRSP and BBNP
This house was clean and comfortable, everything works, including the WIFI and my cell phone. We wanted to see more of Big Bend Ranch State park, staying here facilitated that nicely. The beds were comfortable, we both slept well. I have found that the mangers , Daryl and Janet, do an excellent job at all their properties.

House was great. Could use some updates. The upstairs bathroom was extremely small. We were very impressed that all the toiletries were available and extra if needed, the dryer vent had not been cleaned in some time and should be checked often. We visited Far Flung outdoor adventures; the guide was great. We did the 360-jeep tour, also went to Starlight for dinner, the cantina next door to starlight, Venga for brunch, free mimosas on Sundays! Hiked closed canyon, which was beautiful. Went ziplining in Lajitas, awesome guides as well. Overall great experience in Terlingua!

Home Away from Home
This house was such an incredible place to stay. We had enough room and were quite comfortable. It feels more like a home because of how inviting it is. Communication with owners was great and we loved our stay. Just a note- there are 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms down which was VERY helpful for our group given that we were traveling with some people who appreciated not having to climb stairs (prior surgeries, age, etc.). Overall, such a great place to stay in an amazing environment!

Nice stay for Big Bend trip!
We had a really nice time at this property. The location is excellent with a short drive to Big Bend. Everything was clean, had plenty of space for 6 people, and all the amenities we needed. Property owners were quick to respond with questions and easy to contact. The main issue to improve would be the following: the back patio had loose wooden planks that need repair, there was some sort of wasp nest in the holes in the patio roof, and the bathrooms could use some updating of the sinks, tub, and shower. Overall we had a great time and would stay there again!

Fantastic home, will rent again
We had four adults and two kids (ages 12 & 9) and Lajitas Casa Grande couldn't have been more perfect for our needs. Everyone had their own space with room to spare if you took advantage of the upstairs common space. Neighborhood spread out enough for quiet and privacy. Only drawback is drive time to get to BBNP entrance near Study Butte, but we knew that going in and just planned a few extra minutes for starting our day at the park. Thanks for an excellent stay. We look forward to coming back and renting again!

A roomy house with all the amenities.
Everything about the house was perfect except for the following: the windows need replacing, the window lock in the master bedroom needs replacing, and it would be nice if there was cable TV.

Better instructions on how to turn the TV volume down are needed. We called and emailed with no reply so never watched any TV. Back wood platform was a little hazardous and falling apart. Needs work. Otherwise very nice.

Everything was easy. This should be a four star property. Everything was fine. Cool neighborhood, close to state park and national park. Little store one mile down the road. Quiet and dark. Our issue was the oven and cook top. We never got the oven to work. The cook top is glass and I just don’t like glass cook tops. It did not have a grill. The description did not say grill but we still figured there would be one. We did not complain about the oven so I don’t know what the issue was.

Gorgeous home with incredible views, perfect base for exploring Big Bend!
My family (husband, me, 6 & 8 yr old kids) stayed three nights at Casa Grande. We LOVED our stay and highly recommend this property! The home was clean, safe, had beautiful views, and was a great base for our trip to Big Bend. The home is roomy with 4 bedrooms and a play room upstairs with several games to play. There was no cable but there is Netflix which was awesome! There is also WIFI and our AT&T cell phones worked great. In the evening we sat out on the back deck or the front porch and sipped wine while we watched the sun set and the amazing starry sky. Absolutely beautiful! We traveled to Casa Grande from Fort Davis/Marfa and drove on scenic hwy 170, stopping to hike at Closed Canyon in the state park (just 30 minutes from the home). We brought a cooler from home and filled it with groceries we purchased in Fort Davis so we were able to cook several meals at Casa Grande which was so nice! The drive from Casa Grande to Terlingua is 10-15 min and exploring the ghost town cemetery and Starlight Theatre were so fun! It is just a 20-25 minute drive from Casa Grande to the Maverick Junction entrance to the park so it was a perfect base to explore the park and then come home in the late afternoon to relax. We very much enjoyed this lovely home, thank you for sharing it with us!

House was decent, had issue with management
Our stay at Lajitas Casa Grande was very good. The house was decent and the area was pretty and fun. I was sent some outdated information in my reservation packet regarding available channels, but that was cleared up quickly. My issue came after our stay was completed. I had to disable the battery operated smoke detector because it was chirping the entire first night of our stay. No big deal. We got busy with tours and exploring the area, so I forgot to email Janet about that. The day after we left Casa Grande, I got a very snotty email from her accusing me of smoking in the house. She went so far as to say she found cigarette butts on the property! We explored every inch of that property with the kids and there was nothing of the sort. There was no "distinct smell of smoke" in that one bedroom. We don't smoke. We have never smoked. We did not smoke in or around that house. It was musty, but we just figured it the smell of a dusty, desert environment. I don't know if there were really new renters in the house, but she said they were complaining about the smoke smell! Impossible, unless her cleaning crew came in and there lit up. She attempted to charge me additional per the paperwork I signed agreeing not to smoke. Uh, no. Unfortunately, that exchange put a damper on the vacation. I would have given the house itself 4 stars.

Property managers Daryl and Janet were attentive, easy to contact, which is helpful when planning a trip a year in advance. The house was just right for our party of 8, 60 to 75 year old's. We saw all the scenery from Marfa to Marathon, down to La Linda, Boquillas, St Elena, and Persidio. A goodtime was had by all. Thanks to the owners and managers for renting the Casa Grande to us.

Stayed at this house as it was in the middle of our planned bicycle rides. It’s close to Big Bend State and Federal parks. Star gazing is incredible as well.
