"Ariadni Palace is located in the middle of the beautiful village Koutouloufari which hosts amazing restaurants and taverns. It’s a family-owned and operated business. Service was overall very friendly exceeding expectations during lunch and dinner timeframes but admittedly not as stellar during the afternoon. "This self catering hotel suited us perfectly as it had a great pool which was not busy and it was only a few steps down onto the sandy beach. The towels in the room were changed daily (if we wanted them to be changed) and beds made etc. It is not the 4 star facility that some people would want, but if you do not want all the bells and whistles and just want a lovely family run self catering hotel in the best location then you cannot beat this one. "

"Had a lovely stay here but think you need to update your info as no longer has a bar / cafe and no pool side bar ,this didn't bother us but it is misleading, We found apartment lovely everything we needed , good pool and central ideal.location."

"The shower head has some kind of deposit build up. It didn't really affect water pressure, but it is sightly. That could probably be fixed by soaking it in vinegar and baking soda. Also some kind of "do not disturb" system would be great! I don't want to be woken up by cleaning after a night of partying."

"Property seems very kid friendly, which is nice, but as we did not bring our children this trip, it was loud and overwhelming with kids running all over. Often difficult to get spots at the pool as well. We almost decided to go next door to the Nana Princess instead. Food was pretty good. Facilities have plumbing issues given the smells in the bathroom. Was not pleasant. Good value but not luxury. Live and learn"

Wonderful Resort

"Beautiful resort with super friendly and helpful staff. The water park looks amazing for kids (and adults too). Plenty of areas for adults to relax too. Only improvement is Netflix needs to be added to the TVs in bedrooms, the existing selection of mainly news channels is awful "

"We had an amazing time in the hotel. Thanks to all the staff for making it great. The facilities are wonderful. The views are outstanding, especially at night. I love the cabanas at the beach. They have different foods each night in the buffet restaurants. The food is great with a wide range to suit everyone. Feels everything in the hotel is done with thought, and care for the well-being of the guests. We checked in really late at night with Manus at the desk to assist us with the check-in. He welcomed us with warm smile. He was super helpful and gave us something to eat knowing we came to the hotel after a long flight. That was a warm welcome. We entered the room with amazing views at the balcony. They have made the holiday and the whole experience special for me and my partner. Thank you again! "

Phāea Cretan Malia, a Member of Design Hotels

"Lovely hotel, main pool quite busy but the private beach was amazing with great beach bar and chilled music. We avoided the buffet and had incredible food at both the Cretan restaurant for breakfast and dinner and the Italian for dinner. Charming staff, just needs a minor rethink in bathroom as shower was narrow due to placement of soap holder. Overall a fantastic experience and would highly recommend and return "

"The management and staff made this one of the most memorable experiences we have had in a hotel,the chef Petros was amazing his food some of the best we have had this accompanied by the wait staff Tonya,Evi,Manos and Soula who could not have been more helpful. Overseen by Mr Apostolos who runs such a great team my thanks to them all for making our stay such a great experience."
