"No frills lodging. It's an older building, and it is showing it's age, but it's sufficient for a night or two. Big tub in the bathroom. Rooms are warm (It's Oct and cold!). Good accommodations for the price. Make sure you check your email ahead of time for the key box code, or you will have to call from the unstaffed reception. Free coffee and snacks at breakfast. "

"Our room was spacious and comfortable with views directly over the canal. Bathroom was well equipped with a fantastic shower. Free car park for residents and also a cafe downstairs."

"Beautiful place to stay"

"Absolutely loved our stay at the Whitebridge Hotel. The quirky decor in this old hotel is a hidden treasure. Our room was lovely and clean and the meals were amazing. Would definitely recommend anyone who wants a traditional stay in Scotland to stay here. Staff are friendly and there is plenty of room to relax. Book in for dinner though as it is very popular! Met a lovely British couple and we sat and talked for hours in the lovely lounge room - could have had some heating on in the room, but we managed to chat without it until it got too late and too cold. Our room was lovely and warm though when we went back to it. No option to advise we didn't want the beds made or the towels changed so maybe a suggestion to get some door signs made up. Being an eco-friendly country, we would have been happy to reuse our towels for another night."
