"We really enjoyed this rental. First impressions were wonderful and the cottage did not disappoint. You notice the craftsmanship and attention to detail while there and the rental had all the accoutrements we needed. The pool is a nice bonus even though we used it once since we were all over the island while there. The manager was easy to communicate with and he set us up with bikes which we highly recommend. Great place!"

"Moody blue cottage was the perfect fit for us. If we come back to caye caulker, this is where we want to stay. Every thing about this property was great. Be sure to arrange snorkeling trip with Francis and wish we had known that we could arrange fishing with him before booking through a local company. He is very knowledgeable about the island and marine life."

"The cottage was cozy and quaint it had everything we needed. The property was quite and not very far from the action. Having Harley and Bruno made us feel extra safe. Mike and Lily were so accommodating and gracious. They really made an effort to help us enjoy our stay. Gave us great tips on good restaurants and guilds for excursions. "Cottage was a little off the beaten path but still was not a bad walk to the hub of activity Michael was easily available to answer any questions or solve problems Only thing I would have liked better was better window covering in the bedroom. Other than that great stay"

"We loved our stay at the Bayblue Cottage. Francis was super helpful and friendly with us getting checked in and giving us recommendations for our visit on the island. We loved the cottage, the view, the hammocks, the beach, and the bikes that were provided which helped us get around. We would definitely stay again! "

"They have huge dogs that will jump on you and enter the property with mud and dirt on their feet. The owner fraudulently charged my credit card for damage we did not do. It’s criminal to take advantage of tourists in a foreign country. "

"This property was very quiet and within about 15 minutes drive from the airport. James was very communicative and told us lots about the history of the area and his personal history, which we appreciated. Concerns were that interior doors didn't open all the way, the dish sponge was very old, the refrigerator dispensed water very slowly and I wondered if we should be drinking it, the listing had shown a washer and dryer (which was most probably in the owner's house) and the valve on the shower...

"The Gecko Bungalow is really something special! Scott and Michelle are incredible hosts -- when one in our party fell ill, they went above and beyond to make sure he was well cared for and comfortable, and they made sure we had everything we needed during our days there. Their hospitality is genuine, and you can see their passion for connecting with their guests. They make it feel like you're visiting them as friends, and aren't "just a customer" renting a room. "Stayed at The Palms for two days on a recent trip. It's in a safer part of Belize City, and the property is secure, well-kept, and modern. Rooms are spacious and up-to-date, with an attentive and friendly staff. There's a coffee shop around the corner, but you may have to do some walking if you want other food options. I was able to do some urban birding nearby on foot."

"The highlight of our stay were a pair of brawling iguanas right in front of our cabin! River Bend is a convenient 5 minute drive from the airport. The staff is exceptionally accommodating, and they went out of their way to help us feel (and be!) safe. It is a rustic location, which was perfect for us, as we are experienced rural travelers. Note that the last leg of the trip involves a 1 to 3 minute boat ride. There is a fully stocked grocery store nearby - once you are on the other side of the river it is a walkable distance, but I recommend that you strongly consider the taxi, as the driver gave us a lot of additional information."
