"I had a unique and memorable stay at River Bend. While the property itself is a bit run-down and has the feel of a bargain-basement summer camp, it was surprisingly clean and comfortable inside. The real highlight was the amazing staff, who were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The resident dogs added an extra layer of charm to the place! The bar was open on arrival, the staff was ready to order-in food for dinner, and the breakfast was fresh and ready at 7:00 AM. It may not be a luxury resort, but it’s certainly the coolest airport hotel you could ask for—perfect for those seeking a laid-back, friendly atmosphere. They picked me up from the airport in a boat and took me back promptly the next day! All in all, great value for the price, and I’d happily stay again."

"This was my second time staying at The Palms, and it remains my favorite hotel ever. If you're traveling to Belize City, I highly recommend staying here! The area is safe and quiet, with plenty of delicious food and fresh juice vendors nearby. BakeD is just around the corner—do yourself a favor and try the meat pies and cookies! The rooms are beautiful and spotless. Both the Wi-Fi and AC worked perfectly. The in-room coffee maker came with great Nespresso pods, and we were welcomed with a freshly baked coconut bread on arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. There was also a well-stocked mini fridge with a variety of drinks available for a fee. We opted to grab our own from a small convenience store just down the street, but it was great to have that option if you didn’t feel like going out. The entire property is extremely clean, and the staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. We also chatted with several locals in the area—everyone was so warm and welcoming. The hotel’s transportation services were super convenient and made getting around easy. Overall, I can’t recommend The Palms enough. 10/10!"

"This place is a jewel of a find! Michelle and Scott are super friendly and very attentive. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at home! I was asked every day if I needed a ride to the grocery or convenient store. The housekeeping was great and pool was nice! Great whimsical rooms are done very stylish and supplied with everything you need. Check out the book they put together for things to do as I rented a vehicle from them and checked out the sites they recommended! I just loved spending time by the pool to chillax. This was a vacation well needed. I will definitely come back again!"
