Mellisa the property manager goes above and beyond to make you comfortable and she remembers us every time, leaving a sweet note on our papers for us when we come in late. The lack of cell service and a strong internet connection was a problem for us. I appreciated the bbq, fire pit and comfort of the beds. I did really miss having a tub though. "Spent our first night and husband and wife. Was nice to get away from the city without having to drive too much. No frills basic stay. No light pollution on the night of Perseids meteor shower made for some romantic star gazing. Mongolian yurts were interesting to see! Thanks for a nice stay!"

"I absolutely love this place. I'm from the island and did a little staycation, and I'm now forever renting from these wonderful people and staying in these cabins. A wonderful location right on the river and the coziest cabin with everything you need. The whole property is lovingly decorated with detail, and has a wonderful rustic vibe. The hosts are lovely, friendly and helpful, and let us check in early. I will be staying here again and again! I only wish I could bring my pup as she would also...

"These chalets are gorgeous! My teenage daughter picked this spot to celebrate her 17th birthday and I wish we stayed longer than a weekend. I highly recommend this location especially for families. They have a ton of activities on the beach and watercraft to entertain kids of all ages. Hope to return soon!"

"Overall we had a great stay, we enjoyed the trails that are right on the doorstep for hiking. When we arrived the house was freezing, it took a little to heat it up as it is such a big home. When it was warm it was so cosy and nice. The house was perfect for our large gathering, and it was clean and very well appointed. We had some issues with doors sticking and even a couple of our guests getting locked into their rooms. The master ensuite had no hot water despite running the water for 10 mins...
