"This appartment is extremely well located near Sarlat and within the vicinity of many interesting places. Friendly, discrete hosts that were at our service when needed: we missed a hairdryer (which was mentioned in the house description) and they immediately solved that. Appartment was very cool which was welcome with day temperatures of +35°C. Only downside: the appartment is very damp (known to the hosts) and the mechanical ventilation does not entirely solve this."

"Enjoyed the rural setting and the evening quiet. Once we found it, the place was easy to access and find our way around the area. Overall, decent lodging at a good price. Although small, the studio was decently outfitted with some exceptions... No dish cloth or dish towels. Less than half a roll of toilet paper. No garbage collection during our 5 night stay. Shower head needed some tightening, flopped all over the place."

"We had a wonderful week in Trémolat. The gîte was just on the edge of the village - a 2 minute walk to the boulangerie in the mornings. Lovely quiet location. Amazing pool! "We thought this place was wonderful. The living/dining room was well appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed. There is a balcony looking over the ruins of the nunnery and the town. Bed and bath were very nice, and I appreciated the washer. Caroline was helpful, and brought peaches from her garden: delicious. One caveat: 2nd floor means "climb 2 long flights of stairs"."

Everything I needed and all the activities were within a 2 to 15 minute walk - post office, grocery store, walking tours, bakeries, restaurants, everything! I have stayed in several VRBO rentals over the years, and Francis is, by far, the best host I have ever met! He is so caring, attentive and helpful, and can’t do enough for you. "This was a lovely old house from another era, an adorable private garden and situated at the quiet end of a lovely village. Could use some renovation and a more modern kitchen, if you were going to stay longer than a few days, but was fine for our short stay. Mr. Tixier was available just around the corner and by phone at a moment's notice which we really appreciated. He was responsive and nice--the things you need when travelling, as we were, in another country :) "
