Sleep Like an Angel in an Old Church - Blue Room

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (25)
"We had a great time here. The property is fascinating and our hosts, John and Kirk, were there if we needed them and invisible when we didn't. They were both charming and made our stay the best. Highest recommendation. Note To K & J: We're so sorry for not posting this early on. It was a simple case of "I thought you posted the review?" , "But I thought you posted the review!!??" You guys were super and we loved staying with you. Your community and state were beautiful. Tom & Karen"

"The Tavern was unavailable due to refurbishing; hopefully the rooms are next. Our room was spacious, but clearly a bit worn and in need of a facelift. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good, and overall our stay was very pleasant. Front desk staff was gracious and friendly, as was our breakfast host."

The Margate Resort on Lake Winnipesaukee

2.5 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (1000)
"The renovations for this hotel were a great surprise! I loved the easy-to-clean flooring (no carpet) in the rooms! The room was clean which is my #1 concern. I loved that we could do a 1-night stay as our schedule didn’t allow for more. It was a convenient drive to Gunstock and the kids loved the indoor pool and hot tub. The woman who worked at the front desk was such a sweet and welcoming person! She was very accommodating and friendly!"

Lakeview House & Cottages

2.5 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (165)
"This historic property has been lovingly refurbished into a modern day inn. There are clean, shared bathrooms. The outside porch and sitting areas overlook the lake with fabulous views. The owner was friendly and made home made muffins for breakfast. My only complaint is the noise from the motocyclists during the evening."
