"If you check back, I stayed here a year ago. It wasn't so good. But a year later and new owners and my god what a change. Parking is great. Met by welcoming staff. I had my usual room and it had been redecorated and now the windows open, no longer painted closed. Lovely powerful shower. Last year the evening meal was terrible, tiny portions and over priced. "Fantastic hotel in a great location for walking down into Bath (although steep walk back up), and ideal for getting train into Bristol. All the staff were lovely and very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious every morning!!! Room was great and although by a main road, was not disturbed by noise at all. Would definitely book again if ever travelling to that area!!!"

"We booked an overnight stay as having a girls weekend in Bath. I chose this hotel for the location, value and from previous reviews. Firstly the staff were all very warm, welcoming and professional. The hotel is a stones throw walking distance to the local bus stops ( bus goes straight through to Bath £3 pp each way) our bedroom was let's say a little dated as such and needed a little TLC but it was clean and tidy, basic necessities in place and spacious for a twin. "Great location, finding parking wasn’t bad although it did cost us £25 to park for one night. The room didn’t have an expresso machine as advertised and we only had one coffee each on arrival and that was it. Would have been nice to have more coffee and milk. Minor details but makes the difference. Overall though, was satisfied with the stay and location. "
