"The pictures of the place look cute. When we got there we were horrified! My family and I arrived to the property, and discovered the 3rd "bedroom" was a refinished garage without heat! It was 40 degrees that night. We also found mouse dropping in a different bedroom. We travel with pets so we had no other choice but to stay the night. We didn't arrive until after 9pm. When we woke the next morning there were cockroaches in the kitchen. We called the owner right away. He knew about the roaches...

"To get to the parking area in the back of the house, you need to drive through the yard on the right side of the house from the main road (there is a slight bit of driveway entrance there). There is a ditch that runs across the front yard, but there is a culvert on that side that will allow you to drive to the back. "This was such a memorable birthday! From the enriching history of the property to the coziness of both inside and outside aspects of the home. Mom enjoyed the antique aspects and my boyfriend enjoyed the serenity of the lush trees - I enjoyed that it made me feel like I was in the Princess and the Frog. This was such a perfect spot filled with so many things that made it a good getaway. We enjoyed the gazebo and pond, and to our joy and surprise the little friends in the pond (alligators)!!!!...
