What a sunset. Totally raw, unedited magic in the sky that night. This region of Mexico is one of my favorite regions to explore because of the great surfing and the amazing food and people. Not in that order. Also, this retreat center is spectacular. They make amazing smoothies and do massages and yoga. Do it.

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at El Escondite, a brief walk along a flat paved road to our favourite beach in the world. Julian is a gracious, attentive and kind host who ensured our stay was easy and comfortable. He prepared a magnificent fruit bowl for our arrival which we enjoyed for several days and was always available to answer questions and make suggestions. He is environmentally conscious and has a great sense of humour too, which always helps."
