"Barcalo Royal Level was a great resort - the room was spacious, modern, clean and well equipped. THe main hotel areas are very clean and neatly laid out. The communal toilets near restaurant and pool need some repairs, but every other common area was very nice. The restaurants are so good, the amount of food was amazing and the variety was A LOT! I used the Royal Level restaurant for breakfasts as the chefs making the omelettes, pancakes, bagels, french toast, eggs were better than other restaurants. Other meals I used the bigger buffet restaurants which had more choice. I would recommend the resort it lived up to and exceeded my expectations. Some reviews I read before questions the need for Royal Level booking - but I found it near faultless. I would've liked the Olympic Pool to be included (maybe 2 bookings per trip) but I used the main pools which were really good. The cocktails and access to soft drinks & beer were really good. "

"From start to finish we greatly enjoyed our stay. We were greeted by a very warm welcome which was also most helpful. The housekeeping staff were very lovely, efficient and friendly. The app was most helpful in sharing information and quick communication. We had a problem with our toilet which was quickly resolved. The staff greeting us at breakfast were welcoming and friendly. We would certainly recommend the hotel and look forward to our next stay."

"The rooms are really nice. The breakfasts are filling and absolutely delicious. The lunch and dinners are quite nice. There are 2 beaches nearby and lots of shops and restaurants. On Saturday mornings there is a market that you can go to. In the majority of the blocks is a small pool and they're very nice. There's also an adults only pool, and the main pool. The main pool has slides and a little splash park. Me and my family have really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend"

"From the moment we arrived we found exeptional service from the reception staff. As there was little queue we were invited to another desk to check in. Room was very clean and decorated with taste. All staff, cleaners, receptionists, waiters, cooks, gardeners, bartenders were very friendly and helpfull. Dining was very good, variety of food so everybody could find something they liked. We used dolce vita restaurant for my partners bday and there was no disappointment either, everything tasted as in Italy. We even received bday card from experience manager from the hotel. Check out process very quick and without any issues. I can highly recommend this hotel. "

"Brilliant for a young family - try to get an apartment at the far end away from the bar and restaurant if you have really small kids because some of the late night entertainment can be loud. "
