"Check in was quick and easy. The hotel is in the heart of Los Barriles and on the beach. They have a large pool. I would definitely get a pool/ocean view room. It is worth the extra $$$. The bed was a little soft for my liking. They have a cafe/coffee shop which has food and is open earlier in the day. They have a full bar/restaurant in the evenings as well as a little palapa bar right above the beach with a great view. We saw whales breaching and playing and rays jumping, all right out in front of the hotel. The staff were all super friendly, especially Leo. A couple of things to note. Our room did not have a microwave or coffee maker. Also the water pressure is a little light and the sink drained slow. But these are small things compared to all the great things about Playa Del Sol. We will most definitely stay here again. It is 2 blocks from the main streets and there are a ton of restaurants, bars, taco stands and grocery options within a few blocks. "

"The house was beautiful, the beach was amazing and the ocean was great for swimming and playing. We also rented ATVs for our stay and it was tons of fun driving them into La Ribera for meals and groceries. We also took them as far as Los Barriles just for fun and had lunch! We would be happy to come back anytime!"

"My family of 5 and another family of 4 spent 8 days at this wonderful La Ribera house and casita. The house and pool were amazing and we had everything that we needed cook, relax and hang out. The separate casita was perfect for additional sleeping space, especially for those in our group who liked to sleep in. The ocean was close, the pool was clean and the property manager and owner were responsive and happy to help with every need. I would highly recommend this location and look forward to a return trip!"
