Mercer House Bòria Bcn

4.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (801)
"The property was a bit difficult to find but that is the nature of the narrow streets of Barcelona. The person at the desk was helpful. The junior suite was very spacious and roomy- perfect for a family or group. The buffet breakfast was simple but well presented. I do not know about the other rooms but our room was NOT for tall people. My husband is 5’9 and had to be careful of some of the doorways. I’m 5’2 and I felt the place was ideal. Tall people should inquire about the rooms!!!!"

"Loved this place. Fun lighting and room entries. Close to everything. I would stay again. The only thing we noticed was an acetone type smell, I think they may have been painting or something. It didn't impact our stay, thankfully."

Aparthotel Allada

3.5 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (335)
"We loved staying here. The rooms had massive windows that let in lots of light when you wanted and had blackout curtains when you didn't. The street outside (Carrer de l'Allada-Vermell) is much wider than most streets in Barcelona, but is pedestrian only and has trees, with only a small children's playground and a few restaurants. Despite it's beauty and breadth, it is surprisingly low-traffic. It provides a quiet, scenic retreat from the otherwise sometimes claustrophobic sense of the rest of...
