"This is a convenient place to stay if you just in transit. We arrived in the afternoon, and had a long distance international flight to catch the next day. Rested nicely in the hotel. While there is a convenient airport shuttle, it is the first time we were told the driver would not help us with our luggage!"

"We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in May and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The location is perfect, just away from the touristy bit but right in the middle of the old town, near the cathedral and 10metres from Jaume metro station. There are lots of nice shops and restaurants nearby and only a short walk to La Rambla and the beach. The reception staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel very clean and tidy and our room was ideal for our stay. We had the €14 breakfast a couple of times and it was really nice and good value. We highly recommend this hotel, the only negatives were there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and no bar that we saw. There was some heavy construction work outside the entrance during our visit but when completed there will be a really pedestrian square outside. "

"Stayed here for one night when we got back to Barcelona and our flight was the next morning. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Nice view overlooking La Rambla. There were bars and restaurants within easy waking distance and the ride to the airport was only about 25 min on Sunday morning. "
