"This is a glorious, quiet and serene property within 5 minutes walk uphill into the village. So calming and beautiful and several room options, although all upstairs. Great, large clean (unfenced) pool - so hypervigilance needed with small children. It was mid-summer hot and we think some room fans would be helpful as the automatic airconditioning was not quite adequate in the bedrooms. These are small criticisms of what is a magnificent holiday rental for a large group."

"This was an amazing holiday, it was a mixed bunch of ages but we all kept ourselves doing what we wanted. The house is amazing and modern but with the old rustic charm still within the old house. The swimming pool was the main attraction for the youngsters. It was big enough for all our party, and when the temperature dropped Jean soon put this right. Lacoste is an amazing place to visit, but all the surrounding area was beautiful. Great holiday xx"

"We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful and we all had such a great time using the amazing kitchen and eating eating outside. The owner and lady who met us on arrival were very kind and helpful. The only downside was some very grumpy neighbours who were very unreasonable about the kids making noise in the pool. This did make us have to constantly worry about the kids being in the pool and limiting their time in there which isn’t great I’m 40degree heat."

"We had another amazing week at the house. It is just such a special place, so relaxing, so beautiful and with everything you need for a family holiday. The pool is wonderful and nearby towns so fun to visit and the bike path across the street perfect for exploring the area with the kids. We will be back! "What a wonderful stay. We had the best week and so sad to have to leave. Lots to see near by, and a beautiful home to come back to. The pool was fabulous and we lived in it every afternoon! "We arrived at the location and found it in good condition with friendly hosts who were helpful and generous with there time as well allowing us to enjoy are holiday. The pool was fantastic and private and the placement of the property gives you fantastic access to the towns of Apt, Lourmarin and Bonnieux. We enjoyed some great food in the restaurants in all of these as well as travellling to Aix Provence for a little shopping. The facilities on site allowed us to have BBQs and cooking dinners...

"The property has terrific views, a great swimming pool for small kids, a well-equipped kitchen and extensive grounds. Only one room, a bedroom, has air conditioning and the lower bedrooms can become very stuffy in the heat. The garden is full of odd damaged items which can’t be used. It could do with sorting out."

"The house is set on an amazing fairy tail property. Fish ponds. Vineyards. Trees. Flowers lavender. It’s astonishing. The patio is so beautiful it doesn’t seem real. Bathrooms were very clean and modernized upstairs. Such a perfect property. Very well stocked and we wanted for nothing. We really didn’t want to leave. It was the best VRBO we have and probably will ever stay in. Virginie was so lovely and helpful and genuine."

"Gilles was an excellent host, and the house and yard are fantastic. We really enjoyed Rustrel and the surrounding area. In addition to the great bakery in town, we liked Au Pierrot Blanc in Apt (lavender ice cream) and horseback riding at the Horse Farm De Joucas (beautiful trail rides through vineyards, lavender fields). There are so many great things to do nearby that it's hard to choose, though! We enjoyed all of the helpful recommendations from Gilles."
