"It is a simple yet effective place. The front desk is extremely helpful and supportive. It is a quite place 1 km from Escazú area where you can explore. If you are looking for glam this is not your place but if your good with exploring and simplicity then it is perfect. Great job!!. "

"Adjoining the two-story bank of rooms and the lobby/breakfast-dining-tables is a dense jungle where tropical birds chirp. An attractive setting. My single-bed room could have been brighter with stronger light bulbs, but when I requested a lamp to see my laptop keyboard, the desk clerk quickly and cheerfully supplied one. I probably should have asked for a wash cloth for showering, but that's a basic necessity. The bathroom-sink faucet had little pressure and the shower water was barely lukewarm...

"This place is cozy and beautiful. If you want to be surrounded by warm people and lush gardens, this is the place. The water feature with gold fish on the back patio is like a small meditation retreat. A lot of love when went into building this little gem."

"This property was used for a one night stayover before a flight. It was perfect and convenient for this where bags didn’t need to be unpacked much. The place was clean and the homeliness offered an opportunity to meet and make new connections if desired. The breakfast provided in the morning was a great holdover meal and staff were friendly and helpful. "

"David and his family are wonderful. They were generous and kind to me and were genuinely caring about my well-being. Their home is lovely and I hope to stay there again. The beach is very close (3 minute walk). I loved listening to the jungle sounds. I did not enjoy the more than expected traffic on the little dirt road but I would need to go deeper into the jungle, further away from conveniences and the beach if I wanted to get away from that kind of noise. It was still quite most of the time...

"I stayed at this B&B for a few hours while waiting for a midnight flight, and overall, it met my needs. The location is excellent—only five minutes from the airport, in a safe, secure gated community, which provided peace of mind for a quick stopover. The room was clean and had the basics for a short stay, so it served its purpose well. The main issue was the lack of transparency about payment. "Our stay was amazing! Miriam and Gerardo took care of my husband and I while we were in town for a business event. To say they went above and beyond would be an understatement. "This is a reasonably priced boutique hotel close to the airport. They offer an airport shuttle for $5 (only leaving from the hotel) and breakfast is available for $11. The hotel works well for a quick overnight stay in San Jose before flying out or when flying back into the country and not wanting to make the long drive home at night. The hotel is behind a tall motorized gate and also within a small cul de sac that is also gated so it feels safe. We did not partake of the breakfast so we can't...
