"Very nice little home. Lots of games to play with the family. Was fully stocked with condiments in the fridge along with other odds and ends the tend to be forgotten. Very comfortable. We enjoyed our time here very much. "

"Nice little cottage, cozy and comfy. Love that it's dog friendly and fenced in. Kim is very friendly, love the fresh eggs from her chickens. Kim thought of everything one might need but forgot to pack. We didn't use the sauna, but that looked nice as well. A wonderful experience!"

"Four of us stayed at Todd's place and we had a fantastic time. The views from the house are stunning and the house itself is cute and the perfect size. We walked on the beach, skied from the house after a fresh snow, and enjoyed the sauna along with dips in the icy lake. We were able to easily access cross country ski and hiking trails. Todd was very responsive to our questions. We had an incredible time and highly recommend."

"The Copper Harbor Peninsula is so quiet this time of year, exactly what I was looking for. The well-equipped house was easy to find and access and perfectly set up. It was just me this trip - hoping to spot some aurora - and this was a perfect getaway. The view of the lake was great, I enjoyed the deck on the couple days weather allowed. Loved watching the deer who seemed to arrive around 6 each evening. Interior - bed, bath, living space were all comfortable. Loved having a "extra" table for my jigsaw puzzle! Highly recommend the house for a single, couple or family looking to enjoy the amenities of Michigan's UP. "

"Beautiful property - cozy, inviting, clean, warm, had everything we needed and more! Great communication with Sandy & Dan. They gave us great suggestions regarding nearby snowshoe trails, Quincy mine tour, MI Tech Mineral Museum (a must!) and restaurants (loved the Ambassador,) We would highly recommend Kemp's and plan to return to this sweet log home ourselves."

"I came to ski Mount Bohemia with some friends and Todd's place was clean, well equipped and a great vibe to relax and enjoy views of icy Lake Superior. Tap water was tinted brown due to the well. Todd did say it was safe to drink and a drinking water fountain is provided. "
