Escape to your own private oasis on the pristine shores of Torch Lake located just outside of picturesque Lake Linden in the charming community of Bootjack. Our modern newly updated home offers plenty of space for you and your loved ones to enjoy a luxurious extended vacation or a quick getaway to the breathtaking North.

With over 200 feet of stunning lake front access you'll be surrounded by natural beauty and tranquility from the moment you arrive. Wake up each morning, to panoramic views of the water and spend your days swimming, fishing, kayaking, or simply soaking up the sun on your private dock. After a long day on the lake, relax with an locally made ILO electric sauna and soothe your muscles before heading off to bed.

Our well-appointed home features plenty of space, sleek contemporary furnishings, comfortable bedding and all the amenities you'll need to feel right at home. Whip up a gourmet meal in a fully equipped kitchen, gather in a special living room to watch a movie or enjoy dinner al fresco on the deck overlooking the lake.

Located just minutes from Lake Linden's top attractions you won't be short on things to see or do. Take a short drive to explore the stunning Hungarian or Houghton Douglas falls, or spend the afternoon hiking around the Bare Bluffs natural preserve. Please note that the dock is portable and due to ice flowes we need to pull it in and out seasonaly. Depending on weather we try to get the dock in by mid June and ussaly pull by mid September. Please message us if you are plan on using the dock. We strive to overdeliver but at times the weather does not cooperate.

Long weekend in the Keweenaw to visit my daughter at Tech. House and hosts are great. Love the location, so quiet and peaceful. This was our second stay here and will be back, hopefully during the summer to enjoy the lake

We loved this property. There was so much to do nearby and my kids loved exploring the strip of land we hand on the lake. There were lots of games and we even found a new fav in the house. Will be back if we’re ever up this way again. Thank you!

This was a great location to take three generations and pets that was within a reasonable distance of Michigan Tech. The lake was beautiful, and the house worked out well for our group of seven. Communication is excellent! Check in, and out, was very smooth!

The decorating is so cute and cozy. Our trip was planned in the winter, and we were a sad because this would be a fantastic summer vacation spot. Definitely recommend! Also, owners are super responsive and very accommodating.

Amazing home on Torch Lake
The house is very clean and updated with everything you need for your stay! The hosts responded extremely quickly with any questions we had. The location is beautiful and a perfect spot for a Keweenaw vacation! It was the perfect home base for all of our travels in that area. Torch Lake is gorgeous! We were able to enjoy some beautiful sunrises and a sunset. Highly recommend and hope to return!

Peaceful lakeside home
My friend and I had a lovely stay at Misty’s. The real standouts about this place were the view of Torch Lake, sitting outside at night enjoying the stars, and relaxing in the sauna (once we got it going) after a day of hiking Very clean and comfortable. Lots of towels and sundries provided. Very responsive host.

This home was on the water with a great fire pit gathering area steps from the water, we enjoyed it every night. Everything that we needed was supplied, with very nice decorating to enjoy inside. Hosts helped point us to good boat rentals. Saw shooting stars, it was so clear. Four generations stayed and everybody had a good time. We would stay here again.

Fabulous place by the lake!
Spent a long weekend here together with the family and our dog. The place is beautifully located close to the lake, and has everything you need for the perfect getaway. The kitchen is stacked, the bedrooms are great and the living room has a large sofa and tv if you get bored of the outside. Huge bonus with the sauna that brought me right back to my childhood days growing up in Scandinavia. Last but not least, the owners are very attentive and friendly, and answered all my questions immediately. We’ll be back, thanks!

Everything you could want!
My husband and I were traveling through the UP and were looking for different places to stay as we made our way to Copper Harbor. The location was beautiful and serene. Full of amenities that we look for when stay somewhere. Clean and comfortable, the kitchen has everything we needed to cook our meals. Our stay was only 2 nights and the weather did not cooperate for us to lounge in the yard by the campfire but having access to everything to enjoy the lake was great. Jason and Misty were very easy to get in touch with when we had a few questions. The house is close enough to Lake Superior for a nice day trip, and a ride into Houghton for lunch at the Ambassador. I think next time we travel up north we’ll bring our family and hang out a little longer. Definitely a great place to stay!
