The holiday home itself was cozy, charming, and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The house’s traditional Connemara charm paired with all the modern comforts made our stay incredibly comfortable and relaxing. From the warm interior to the lovely garden and surrounding stone walls, every detail added to the experience. The peacefulness of the bay and the surrounding countryside allowed us to disconnect from the usual hustle and bustle, while still having easy access to local amenities and the captivating sights of Connemara. This is truly a hidden gem, and we can't recommend it highly enough. We were warmly greeted at reception by the owner, who provided us with champagne in the evening along with fascinating insights into the castle's history. Our dinner experience was delightful, complemented by engaging entertainment, and the breakfast was truly exceptional. We also appreciated the atmosphere of the piano bar following dinner. Our accommodations were outstanding and beautifully suited to the castle's character."
