"The staff were fantastic, the hotel was immaculately clean and a great location. A special shout out is required, due to a jet lag we kept strange hours the first few days in Galway, the late night team, in particular Jonathan and Tyrese provided outstanding customer service without batting an eye to our strange hours and are the reason we will without a doubt be returning to the Harbour Hotel. "Check in was flawless, welcomed by the floor staff, receptionist, and given a lovely welcome drink, truly enjoyed. Asked for a late check in and the receptionist was so accommodating and just lovely to us. Called then to get breakfast in bed for 11am and it was delivered bang on time and lovely and hot. Top marks!!"

"Reserved a room for my daughter who was visiting Galway from Dublin, for a day. My decision was based on location and other positive guest reviews. The hotel lived up to it's positive rating; my daughter loved her stay. The hotel is very conveniently located right next to the main train/bus station and everything is in walkable distance to it with lot's of dining spots all around. The room was neat & clean with a comfortable bed. Would stay here again."

"There was no listing of emergency services in the event that we would have needed them. Not sure if the renter or the client provides toilet paper and trash bags. We purchased. Front door code often did not work unless we punched it in 8-12 times. Quite frustrating! Would have been helpful to know what there were instructions for the heaters and TV in the cabinet below the TV. When we entered the house, the temperature was 11 degrees. We did not know that we could hit the button on the heaters five times to get three hours of heat and suffered through our first 24 hours, we kept hitting the button one time and getting 15 minutes after 15 minutes of heat which did little but keep the apartment from 11-14 degrees which was brutally cold. Toilet paper holder was put on the wall upside down so the roll kept sliding off onto the floor. Having the be aware every three hours of having to go to each of the 3 heaters and turn them on for another 3 hours was VERY bothersome. Not knowing what to do with the trash and recyclables was frustrating."

A beautiful place for a family gathering

"Bayfield House is located on the beautiful Flaggy Shore, in the heart of the magnificent Burren - perfect for daily walks and hikes. The house is warm and welcoming, with lots of space for our party of 14 - adults and teenagers. We could all gather together comfortably in the large living and dining room, and those who wanted a quiet reading or chatting space also found many a cosy corner. Special touches include the wood-burning stove in the living room, the reading room on the first-floor landing, and the Christmas tree and lights provided by our host on request. We will definitely be back!"
