"A splendid step back into Galway’s past in this boutique hotel situated in a medieval townhouse steps from the bustle of Quay Street. Our tiny but cozy room was on the third floor — and please note, if you have any kind of mobility issue, this is NOT the lodging for you, looking out on Cross Street (with some attendant noise at night) — but the emphasis here is on “cozy”, because it was comfortable and well-appointed. "Expedia screwed up, she has been closed since January due to her husband being ill and they never canceled us or let us know. Miss Maureen was so sweet and made calls to make sure we had a place to stay since everywhere was booked (it’s busy season) one of her friends had space for us and made sure we were well taken care of!"

"Lovely BnB with an excellent breakfast. Only issue was the shower which was very tiny and very hard to control water flow. Otherwise 5 star. As with most BnB's there are narrow stairs to climb which might be difficult for older people or those with luggage."
