"Perfect Family Getaway at AYA Niseko ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our family of four, including two energetic kids (9 and 6), had an amazing stay at AYA Niseko during the low season. While many places in the surrounding area were closed, we actually loved the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. It gave us a chance to fully enjoy the tranquility of the area and take in the beautiful natural surroundings. We spent a lot of time walking and hiking up the mountains, which was a fun and adventurous way to keep the kids...

"This was our third stay at Freedom Inn. We love the location within walking distance to the ski field but away from touristy Hirafu. They have a great pick up drop off shuttle service which can take you to dinner in either Hirafu or Kutchan. Try Kutchan for a more authentic japanese experience. You can even stop by an onsen on the way! There also is a free shuttle to/from the ski lifts. The rooms are very spaceous and there is an onsen/ouffro on site too. The photos don't really do this place...

"This was a terrific stay. We all loved it. Suites were large and minimalist but very tasteful, exceptionally comfortable with all technical amenities and private onsen in each suite. I would describe this as a luxury and modern take on the traditional Japanese inn (inn was built in 2020). Inn is about 7 minutes drive from the hopping ski town of Hirafu. Hotel provides free shuttle back and forth at specified times and Go Taxi app worked well, so no need for rental car. Very peaceful and...
