"It was raining when we got to the hotel, and I was immediately offered a towel to help dry off. The staff spoke English well enough to understand what I was saying without any difficulty. The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and had all the amenities that we needed. Only a 10 minute walk to Sannomiya Station made seeing the town a breeze. Also Kobe beef was amazing, highly recommend it."

"This is my favourite hotel in Himeji. While older and perhaps not as trendy as some newer properties, it is still exceptionally well-maintained and very comfortable. The public bath, while small, is very much appreciated. The dining/breakfast room on the top floor is still quite elegant (french-style) with great views of Himeji Castle in the distant background.
