I have stayed in higher star hotels in US and we don’t get the cleanliness and service and we still tipped even when the service at the US hotel was non existent. In Japan, no tipping and we get great service. The free breakfast at Comfort Hotel was good too. "

"Wonderful view of the castle straight from the window. Very convenient location for visiting castle and ginza, and plenty of place to eat close to hotel. Only negative is I cannot park our car in the hotels parking lot due to it being long, although it's a regular size car. Offsite parking was not convenient and its a hit and miss and very tight parking spots."
