"Perfect place to get out of loud cities in Bali and explore a totally different climate and view. I was astonished by the mountains right behind the rooms. Staff were accommodating and helpful. A bit secluded if you got no transport, but I enjoyed the quiet and serenity."

"The Eden House was an incredible oasis minutes from.the busy shopping area, with a literal.walk into a peaceful, personalized haven. The Buddist feel and decor, both sophicated and warm, was paired with homemade breakfasts and a hands-on owner. I wouldbot have stayed anywhere else!"

"This is an adequate place to stay if you go in with the expectation that it is a homestay, not a hotel. All staff were very friendly and courteous. The floor was quite clean but the room was very basic and old, with dirty walls. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. A light breakfast is included but other amenities listed on Expedia were not: for example, there is no daily housekeeping and no toiletries, not even soap! We did get towels and toilet paper upon request! Also note there is NO HOT...

"Everything was fantastic. The resort was beautiful and very well maintained. Also very quiet which was perfect for us. There were always workers watering the plants and sweeping the grounds to make everything look beautiful. Pool area by the beach was amazing and had the best sunset views. "This property is superb!!! If you want a super quiet, zen, relaxing place, this is your spot!!! It is quite a travel to the city center, 20-30 mins. But if you want something relaxing, this is your place. I took grab whenever I needed to go to the city center. They provided breakfast and they are partnered with a local restaurant which made yummy food!! They also helped me find a massage therapist who was super nice. Everyone who works here are helpful and super nice!!! Loved my stay :) interior...

"Overall , it was good . But the room needs more convenience like slippers , hangers, robes,,,, . And as it is situated up the hill , it’s quite difficult to get to especially at night . This is even more cumbersome if you have big luggages. "

"Very reasonably priced and good value for price. Laundry service was also very good and inexpensive. Breakfast was very good. Central location made it walkable to several restaurants. No air conditioning and street noise was quite loud were the downsides. "

"Did not post no ac in room. Ceiling fan small and could not open windows for air circulation. Then charged me extra to move to room w/ ac. Should have put rooms without ac upstairs so at least you could get a breeze. Stained sheets towels tub and toilet. Rips in towels and sheets. Only good thing cook made good banana crepes."

"Near market but secluded a bit. Be prepared for animal noise at night. I did not eat there as better options within walking distance in central Ubud. Something that I not at 2 hotels in Ubud is when you put the sign clean my room’ and go out, they don’t clean the room but turn the card that say ‘do not disturb’. Then they say they didn’t clean because of the sign. "

"This is the best accommodation I have stayed at in ALL OF Indonesia!!!! The staff goes above and beyond, the breakfast is amazing and it’s CLOSE to Ubud’s Main Street! The staff really does absolutely everything for it’s customers, I think would stay here every time I’m in Ubud!!!!!!"

"This was by far the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed! The entire staff from the moment we arrived treated us like family. They accommodated every request we made with such politeness. I really felt like royalty. The property is immaculate and groomed every day. Our villa was so private and clean. I could easily live there! "We stayed a week for our 25th anniversary. Perfect for that occasion. It would be inappropriate with children, infirm or elderly - stone stairs to anywhere, lots of quiet, mostly honeymooners. The staff made an effort to learn our names/circumstances and seemed sincerely invested in our good stay. Shout out to Mira. All day long, the cooked-to-order western and eastern food was amazing (the best/cheapest filet mignon you will find), and we especially enjoyed the included luxurious afternoon tea time 330-430. Our room with private pool felt extremely romantic. We partook of the expert spa massages, mani-pedi and facials. The dance or singing shows every evening added to the romance. Note it is geographically close to downtown Ubud for the shopping, temples, restaurants and chaos, but it is a harrowing and slow 20-30 minute ride that significantly messed with our peace from the place. We only went once. The rice terrace walk was not challenging but is along a road that is a bit too close to traffic. The morning yoga was a mix of stretching and meditation, inadequate if you are a serious yogi. We did our own yoga on the beautiful yoga platform. Kayon Resort was the perfect place to unwind, retreat and recharge. We joked that it felt like the garden of Eden before the fall. One of a kind experience!!!"
