"Fabulous location. It's a homestay, if you don't know what that means, it's not a hotel, look it up and have expectations accordingly. They do have a staff that cleans thoroughly but the rooms are basic and you'll share it with geckos and a few bugs. For the cheapest property in Ubud though, amazing. Great for adventurous travelers and people who want to see a bit more reality than resort. Know a cab can't get you all the way there, you'll have to walk through the market a bit. The one weird...

"Overall , it was good . But the room needs more convenience like slippers , hangers, robes,,,, . And as it is situated up the hill , it’s quite difficult to get to especially at night . This is even more cumbersome if you have big luggages. "

"Never again. It stated on our reservation, daily housekeeping. When we asked about new towels and cleaning our room, they were horrified. So the room never got cleaned and we had to use the same towels the whole time there. I might add, if you want a good night sleep then this place isn’t for you. The loud music next door every night is atrocious."

"What we loved more about the place is that we could walk to centre Ubud with all the shops, eateries and other cool places. It was in walking distance of the Monkey Forest as well. We stayed in unit 1. Downstair bedroom was a bit humid and musty but better after turning on the AC. Outdoor washroom and shower were very cool. Furniture and fixtures need some updating but we did not pay 5 star prices and did not expect perfection. Private pool was a nice bonus enjoyed by our boys. Be aware that...

"Did not post no ac in room. Ceiling fan small and could not open windows for air circulation. Then charged me extra to move to room w/ ac. Should have put rooms without ac upstairs so at least you could get a breeze. Stained sheets towels tub and toilet. Rips in towels and sheets. Only good thing cook made good banana crepes."
