"Location is fantastic. Be prepared for some noise (camping spots are all around the property and close to each other, even if you are in a cabin) but everyone was friendly and family-oriented. "I would give this lodge 10 stars if I could. It was wonderful. The views were fabulous. Christine & Drew were wonderful hosts the gardens around their lodge were so beautiful. If we ever come back to NZ, we will stay at their lodge!!"

The noise on the main road was a bit loud and there is no privacy whatsoever since most all the rooms face the parking lot and the one window faces all the parked cars and people. That is the only downside. Bed was very comfortable and coffee was delish. "

"This resort is very unique…it’s like staying in a treehouse! Very comfortable and quiet. Pool is great! They even have free laundry, which was most appreciated. Make sure that you can walk stairs and hills if you want to stay here. We would come back in a heartbeat!"

"This place had a great location that meant you could walk to all the shops and local eateries. The rooms were very spacious, clean and had great amenities. Son loved the spa and laundry facilities were great. The manageress was an absolute delight!"
