"Die Lage des Hauses als Ausgangspunkt ideal. Check in Unterlagen zu spät erhalten. Haus wird die meiste Zeit vom Hauseigentümer genutzt. Dies ist spürbar und das war für uns nicht eindeutig definiert. Ausstattung war gut. Hauseinrichtung geschmackvoll. Kontakt war nett."

"The apartment was spotless with everything you needed to be home away from home. It was very unique and comfortable. it was very spacious and overlooked the farming area so peaceful and relaxing. The bed and bed linen were of quality which make for a perfect nights sleep. Parking was available right outside the door which was appreciated. If travelling with more than 2 people there is a second toilet and wash basin upstairs next to the second bedroom, where the wash machine is also located....

The cottage is small but that suited us, and the view across the fields filled with all kind of wildlife was superb (not forgetting the chickens next to us and the three walking ducks!). And the huge windmill next to the canal is something to behold. Hans, the host, was really welcoming and helpful and if you want to lean more about the windmill then Google 'Vrouwgeest windmill' and learn how it has been in his family since 1797.
