"I cannot impress upon people how idillic this villa is. It is set near a very small village with peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The villa itself has all the amenities one would require, and the inside is is fabulous condition. There was a maid service twice a week and she did a marvelous job keeping the 5 star villa clean and today. Highly recommend this place for anyone planning a holiday to Crete. "

From a lovely cooked meal for our arrival as we were late to the package of local goodies and home made cake and also booking recommended restaurant, nothing was too much trouble. "The large dining area beside the BBQ was very hot, partially due to the air conditioning units being there. So we had to move tables and chairs around on the upper balconies to get a shady enough area for ten of us to sit and eat."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The Villa was nicer than the pictures. The location was fantastic with beautiful views. We had a couple of a/c issues which were sorted by the friendly team immediately. We would recommend, great value for money."

"We absolutely loved staying at Agnati Villas - the pool was gorgeous - a great temperature with a beautiful view. The location near the town is great (make sure to have a car!) and still close enough to Heraklion. There were plenty of beds and the layout of the houses/villas was great for a large group. We were welcomed with fruit which was lovely. While the kitchen is well equipped with plates, utensils, crockery, etc note that there are no soaps, shampoos, laundry detergent or any of that...

"We had a wonderful time staying in this comfortable house with a spectacular view. The home was spotless and well equipped. This house is a distance from stores or restaurants so we were very appreciative that the host provided us with some basic groceries. The only problem area with this property is the showers. The downstairs one was unusable. There was no shower curtain and it flooded the bathroom if used. The other shower had a leak. It was clear they had attempted to fix it but it was still...

"Was very enjoyable stay, hosted s provided lots of valuable information. Pool was wonderful for kids and big kids. Market, restaurants, bakery and coffee shops all within walking distance. Bus stop block away from villa. There were 8 of us but lots of room!! I would stay here again."

"A beautiful villa in a great location. We were able to walk to the local village in less than 10 minutes which has great places to eat and a well stocked, small shop. Lovely view to the hills and sea with an easy drive to the nearest beach in 5 minutes. The villa is well maintained and really comfortable with a lovely outside area with large table and chairs for eating, plus great sunbeds and a plenty of shade. The pool is clean and great for a family. The teenage boys loved the downstairs...

"Beautiful villa, very well equipped with a very welcoming host, the host even met us half an hour away from the villa, in the middle of the night, to ensure we arrived safely. We were also greeted with a prepared meal and all important essentials, milk, water etc.. The villa was cleaned twice a week with the towels and linen changed. We cannot recommend Harkia Villas highly enough."

"I’ve just returned from an amazing stay at Villa Emma. The property is spacious and well furnished with a really nice pool. I would really recommend having a car while you are there. The “walkable” beach is a pebble beach and not that great for swimming. Episkopi beach is much nicer but is a drive away. "Our family of 5 (with 3 teenagers) had a fantastic time in Villa Ligaria and the village of Ligaria below. The villa itself was beautiful, with a stunning pool and all the facilities you could ask for (including AC in the bedrooms and living space, which was a godsend). "This is a beautiful villa with extremely nice hosts who left a delicious Moussaka on the first evening. Its perfect for two families , there is plenty of space both inside and outside with the grounds being particularly nice. The pool is great , we had it heated as it was at the end of the season. You probably need a car as its little remote but there are mini markets nearby. We used both the pizza oven and bbq which were really nice evenings. I would highly recommend this villa We used"

The people were friendly and helpful and although we didn’t get to meet the host due to arrival time he was available by phone if needed. I would definitely recommend this villa for a visit"

"Amazing would be the word to sum up this property. The villa we stayed in was set in a tranquil setting amongst olive trees. The family who own the villa are lovely, can't do enough for you and were there to greet us when we arrived. The family make their own olive oil from olives they grow themselves and it is the best we have ever tried, we couldn't get enough of the stuff. Renting a car is a must, as it's a non touristy village (which we had no problem with) there's nothing in walking...

"Clean, modern villa, accurately portrayed in photos. Staff made us daily brunch and served it at the dinner table overlooking the sea. There’s a cement road between the Villa and the beach, but it was convenient for parking our rental cars. There's a private area on the beach with beach chairs to enjoy. The villa’s garage was rented to a coffee shop/bar and the owners will deliver beverages and meals to you on the beach or at the villa. Nice Bluetooth sound system throughout the villa to enjoy...

Agapi Beach Resort - Premium All Inclusive

"We stayed at Agapi Beach Resort from 27/10 to 03/11/24 for the third consecutive year. This place never fails to disappoint. Beautiful hotel complimented by the fantastic staff. The accommodation is lovely and cleaned thoroughly every day. The food is lovely and varied each day. As you walk around the hotel the grounds are immaculate with an array of trees, bushes, plants and flowers. Numerous pools dotted about. The beach is two minutes from the main complex. Beach towels provided every day. There are different places on the complex to eat. We can’t praise Agapi Beach Resort enough. Just something about the place that just makes us want to go back every year. Hopefully we will again in 2025. "

"Could not recommend this place more! We will definitely be going back. The staff was phenomenal, when we arrived we were greeted by a concierge who took our bags inside/to our rooms and made us a mimosa while we filled out our check in details. We did the half board so we got a buffet breakfast and dinner each night that had so many options and were very delicious! The front desk also made us a reservation for the el la carte dinner which was also free. The staff didn’t hesitate when we asked them to book us a taxi to check out city centre as well as booking an early taxi to get us to the port the morning we checked out, also supplying us with a box breakfast to go. Highly recommend this place! Absolutely loved every minute of our stay! "

Great Hotel outside of Heraklion

"This was a terrific hotel about 25 kilometers out of Heraklion. It was fine for us because we had a car and the driving easy. The hotel was walking distance down the hill Agia Pelagia which is a cute little beach town. We ate at the hotel restaurant one night and were pleasantly surprised at the overall quality of the dishes we had- way better than a hotel restaurant usually is. The staff was great and the breakfast buffet was very good. If you are planning a trip to Knossos and the Archeological Museum this is a good option. It was nice to get back to the quiet of an out of town hotel. The only downside is they are trying to hard to be kitschy which is totally unnecessary for such a quality property. We loved it all in all"
