"Wallaby Ridge Retreat was a beautiful serene spot overlooking the valley, with a spa, pool and peace and quiet. A few of the wallabies were roaming around. Dan the manager was very helpful on hand for anything you needed. The little town of Canungra is close by with coffee shops etc. I would definitely recommend this lovely place. "We loved staying in this house. It was perfect for our family of 6 and my parents. Great amenities and so much space. Were certainly quite a few broken things when we arrive such as the back screen door, the hot tub was empty with stagnant water in it, cuts in the felt of the pool table and broken screens in the deck area. But these were not things that affected our stay so we weren’t concerned. With some TLC this house could be amazing, but we still had a great time anyway. The cows in the backyard were also a great element that the kids loved so much! Thanks for an amazing weekend away for our family! Hope to be able to stay again soon. "

"This is a classic country motel, nothing flash but clean and has everything one needs for a comfortable short stay. Air conditioning, a fan, mirrors, extra pillows, good access to power points and lamp switches and well placed bins. It is also a short 10 minute walk to the main street of Boonah."

"I read the varying reviews on this hotel and I was a little wary but tbf we had no issues with the place. Yes it’s dated but it sort of goes with the wackiness of it all. Good sleep, decent room with a view, great breakfast and all within a reasonable price. The view from upper rooms are just worthy of * themselves. Don’t be put off by bad reviews the hotel is fine and cheap."
