A quiet, peaceful environment. Plenty of space to absorb the beautiful surroundings and listen to the many different bird calls. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We didn’t want to leave we hd the best time. The bed in the cabin is the best we’ve slept on in any accomm, the farm animals
Are great and the property picturesque. Total value for money
Can’t wait to return again soon.
This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a peaceful time in the country. This had everything we wanted — comfortable bed, good shower, a fully equipped outdoor, mosquito proof, kitchen and dining room. Teena was lovely and very welcoming. My husband and I very highly recommend this place.
We loved our stay at Yalbaroo this weekend, the size and quaintness of the property exceeded our expectations. All the small touches were such a treat, we will definitely be coming back.

Loved our little romantic get away, magical that we could bring our little foxy who loved the whole experience. Feeding the animals was an added bonus.
A little secluded slice of heaven not far from Brisbane.
We just loved this gorgeous farmhouse, so much so that we booked a third night. Lots of privacy and every amenity imaginable was included. We just brought food for our puppy and us. Highly recommended
Had an absolutely wonderful time at Yalbaroo! The place is so beautiful and felt so peaceful and restful. Ali and Teena are welcoming and lovely, and got everything needed for a perfect weekend of rest. Even got to pat some alpacas, which was a real treat! Huge thank you!!
This was our second stay at Yalbaroo and we had been anticipating it for months. From the time we turned off the car, we felt right at home. The peace we feel there is unlike anything we’ve found anywhere else. Already planning next trip.
Teena was very welcoming and provided excellent responses to my messages. The property is charming and very clean with lots of lovely little touches and great attention to detail. We had such a nice time and our dog really enjoyed himself too. Would highly recommend this property. Thank you Teena and family.
Yalbaroo is a converted horse stable accommodation for two with comfortable quality furnishings and a full compliment of all the facilities you could desire. It's a self-sufficient retreat perched in a beautiful valley surrounded by wildlife and foothills with your own personal firepit and BBQ. Hosts are available but leave you in peace as if you own the place!
Excellent. The converted barn was comfortable and well stocked with everything you could think of. The gazebo area with the fire pit was great for goofing and toasting marshmallows. You even get to feed the chooks. We will be back.

Property was lovely and the hosts were great. Great farm stay experience. Dogs had a great time swimming in the river. Restful and refreshed though through no fault of their own are at the mercy of noisy neighbours. Which depending on how full their camp site is can cause problems.
Our time here went by too fast! The barn is well appointed, nothing amiss, even down to dog bowls, leads and toys for pup! The outdoor kitchen was where we spent most of our time when indoors, otherwise going for walks to the nearby creek and exploring the wide open spaces of the property filled us with joy. Feeding the animals was delightful! My puppy was welcome on the property and fully enjoyed the space,. Check in and check out were easy and no hassle! Easy communication with Teena and once there, everyone was lovely and welcoming! Yalbaroo truly is remarkable. Hoping to be able to come visit this charming property again one day soon.
A lovely relaxing place, comfortable with all the amenities.
The septic tank began to overflow on our last day, we attempted to contact manager by telephone but no response.
We had a beautiful long weekend with our fur baby Winston. Peaceful and tranquil location. The renovated barn stay was fully equiped with everything we needed and for our fur baby as well. Highly recommended if you want a great country experience.
A charming place to spend a few days away. The property itself is picturesque and with its adorable miniature horses , alpacas and fowl to visit it made it extra nice to walk around. You could adventure over the creek and up around the sloping hills to take in the view and see the cattle grazing. We stayed in the accommodation made up by the old stables which is perfect for couples, it was presented beautifully and was very cosy ,not to mention squeaky clean and stocked with everything you could need for kids , adults, fur babies , you also had your own garden area to relax in . The host’s are warm and friendly and are happy to help with any requests you may have, which just goes to show that they really take everything into consideration to make sure you have a wonderful relaxing stay . all I have left to say is Well done , you nailed it!
This is our second visit and it won’t be our last. The converted barn is snug and cosy and has everything you could possibly need for a few days away from your normal mad life. We did little but cook great food on the barby and enjoy a good red or two. Took a walk up towards the mountain and that did now thing but confirm what a beautiful place it is. oh and our dog loved it too.
