"Upon arrival we were shown a room with a window opening onto a skinny atrium. We asked the manager for an upgrade and were given a Junior Suite with rooftop patio and city views. The upgrade was only 500 lira extra per night! The hotel was immaculate, the breakfast buffet had many choices and was open from 7am to 11am. There was lots of parking available. The manager gave us information about the area and the bazaar. Oh, and lots of hot water for showers! Personally I found the bed hard....

"A good hotel that has seen better days. Room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the rear of the hotel. AXfridge and kettle in the room which was great for a coffee befure breakfast. Excellent bathroom with a great shower. "

"Don't get discouraged when entering the tiny lobby. You might think it is a back-packer hostel. By no means. The rooms are nice and clean and have all the amenities; if something is missing or not working, contact the staff, they'll go out of their way to help. "This hotel experience was absolutely horrible. We had driven hours from Istanbul and arrived late at 3am, exhausted and ready for bed. We booked a non-smoking room. We got up to the room and the stench gave us instant headaches and a cough. It was as if 5 people were smoking in the room at once. "The quality of this hotel is beyond what the reviews say! Ozan at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! He got us a taxi and suggested places to go and how to get there. The location is phenomenal! It is walking distance to everything. It is a 2 minute walk to Migros (supermarket) , 2 minutes from cafe's and restaurants, and 3 minutes from the beautiful pier. The room itself was very clean and spacious. I got the King bed Jr. Suite and it was so nice to have a full kitchen to cook meals in and the window seals are awesome for hanging out with coffee. You can spot so many cute kitties outside! Also on Sundays the farmers market sets up right in front of the hotel which is a wonderful experience. There's also an art museum that is a 4 minute walk that's worth experiencing. Overall best hotel I stayed at and I tried 4 different hotels on this trip. Best one in Izmir! I'd go back again! "
