"This property was great. It was just what we needed as a family traveling with a little one ( 20 Months). The place was well equipped with all things cooking, to go containers, and just about every appliance one might need for cooking their own meals.It was great to have this place as a home base as we ventured out for the day. When we returned most evenings we would catch the beautiful sunset from the lanai. Also, a nice place to enjoy breakfast in the morning.The master bedroom had a very comfortable bed and it was pleasant to crack the window and fall asleep to the sounds of tree frogs and other nocturnal creatures. The roosters are a little noisy early in the morning, but I'm sure that's the case across the isalnd, they're everywhere.The beach gear setup was very convenient. The place is well stocked with sand castle supplies, boogie boards, umbrellas, beach chairs. The snorkel gear was pretty worn, so maybe thnk about renting some if you plan to snorkel.All in all, it was a very inviting home for our stay in Hawaii! "

"Ocean view. Great view of the ocean, loved the gentle sound of the surf. Close to shopping and Kona nearby. Unit needs mild upkeep but nothing serious. "

"I had an excellent 6 night stay in a Bungalow which had a very comfortable bed, a small refrigerator, a coffee maker (but no coffee or milk was supplied), and a very large ceiling fan which kept a breeze blowing. There is no A/C or heat, so at times the fan had to go on high or the blankets were needed but that was not an issue. "

"Our three generation extended family gathered here from around the world for an incredible one week belated Christmas celebration. The home has an amazing open feel so that whether in the kitchen, on the large sectionals, eating on the attached lanais, or doing laundry, everyone felt part of the group but still had a cozy feeling where they were. The home provides so many extras including ample beach towels and equipment, paper goods, cleaning and laundry supplies, extra items in the pantry, and plenty of seating inside and out. The location is incredibly convenient for the Kona side of the island and a doable drive for a day at the Volcano National Park. Allie was prompt and attentive with her communication. Definitely a Premier Host! Be sure to drive carefully up the driveway to the ample parking on top. You will enjoy this home!"
