"Family of 5 staying in hotel rooms for 5n. Experienced Thailand travellers. Highly recommend this resort for big spacious rooms, cheap food at their restaurant. Need a motorbike though. Or be happy to pay 300 baht each way for 5km into local mini mart and pier. Beach is incredible. Pool super clean. "The people who work at these facilities are never to blame, they work with what they are given. The hotel manager was an angel, his staff exceptional but the hotel is in great need of renovations or general maintenance. Investment is needed to bring it at its grandeur. "

"All depends on what you are looking for. This resort has most of the needed facilities to be classified 4 or even 5 stars if things were working properly. The hotel has obviously cut down on all expenses and run things with a strict budget. it is a huge property with very nice bungalows and rooms (didn't visit rooms). 3 connecting pools and one separate. no lights in the pools unfortunately, which is more fun for night swims, but still, you can swim anytime without time restriction. "While the pool area has not been updated, the hotel in its entirety was fabulous! It felt as though I was the only person there and was truly a wonderful escape from most of the tourist hustle and bustle. I had the entire beach to myself and enjoyed undisturbed time with a book and the sound of the waves. If you want to escape the tourism of Thailand, Tacola is the place to go!"
