"There were a few things that made our stay here uncomfortable and hence the 3 star review. The beds were horrible, hard as rocks and very uncomfortable to sleep on and the pillows were so thin that we had to double them up just to get a semblance of comfort. The front door kept moving throughout the night and banging with each wind current from downstairs, so we had to prop pillows up against it to keep it still. One of the bedroom doors would not shut. There was a washer but no dryer which was...

"We chose this location because of our plan to do several hikes, as well as visit the various Locks and Isle of Sky. It is a great location, though plan ahead and get your groceries in Fort William as the shop in Fort Augustus is pretty sparse. The unit was very clean and comfortable. "We were disgusted when we arrived. The kitchen floor was taped up and tiles were loose. My husband is disabled so this was so dangerous for him. Paint around winvdows had mould on them. Moved radiator cover and floor was filthy. No mirror in bathroom or toilet roll holder. Everything lacked any attention to detail or personality. Luckily holiday company was fantastic and was able to move us on quickly"
