"The property itself was really nice, the room was well furnished with quite a large bathroom. Check in and check out were easy and all the people my partner and I spoke to on reception were polite and friendly. The property was close to a bus stop so it was easy to get to and from the city centre. The only issue we encountered was that the cooked breakfast was cold, even though we'd gone right at the beginning of breakfast service. We would stay here again, but maybe just skip the breakfast next...

"The Clayton is perfectly situated for a weekend trip to Bristol. The hotel is very clean and tidy with really helpful staff. Our room was quiet, warm, cosy and very comfortable. With plenty of nearby parking and city centre location it’s easy to get about either on foot or otherwise. Having stayed in Bristol on many occasions I have to say that this hotel definitely comes recommended. "

We were at the back of the hotel (away from the main road) but there was a lot of noise from works just under our window. As with most hotels these days the room was badly lit - why are these rooms always so dark? Drives me mad! "
