"We had a great time at the Mickleover. The hotel was well located near Derby with ample parking. What made our stay great was that everything in the room was working properly with a good level of upkeep. The staff were wonderfully engaging and took time to deal with us individually to give us that 5 star treatment."

"Overall we had a lovely stay, staff were very helpful and friendly. The room (11) was clean with plenty of toilet roll and body wash. No hairdryer or extra sheets/ pillows which was disappointing. And the decor could do with being updated - ripped wallpaper, stains on cushion covers."

During our stay we had a lovely walk around the gardens with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We enjoyed a very tasty 3 course meal on the evening and breakfast was great. "Really clean and Cory hotel, with plenty of room in the ones with a kitchenette. Everything you needed was in the rooms, but could order extras via QR code if needed which was really handy. Staff were lovely. Will be booking again off I’ve ever back in the area."
