"The Feathers Hotel is a very beautiful building and is conveniently situated in the heart of Ludlow. Our room was basic but warm and clean with an extremely comfortable bed and lovely shower. The view was dismal but that couldn't be helped! The car park is quite small and it seems unfair that customers have to pay to park there (£7.50 per night) but at least there were a number of parking spaces available when we arrived and it is possible to leave your car there until about 3pm on your day of departure.There were one or two slip ups with the service at meal times - e.g. we were left waiting a very long time for the first course of our evening meal and for breakfast the following morning - but the price of one starter and one breakfast were deducted from our bill to make amends, and the food was very good. All in all a very positive experience at quite a special hotel."

"I stayed here overnight to break up my journey. Nice hotel. I had a spacious room, with good facilities. The dinner was good - a bit of a clinical dining room, but the fish and chips was excellent! The pool was small but nice, and just the right temperature, with a good lounging area. Breakfast was only average, but it was fine. I would stay again if in the area."
