"This is a cool little motel tucked away in the forest. Nothing fancy, but clean, and decent, and comfy bed. It even has a pool, but it really was way too cold to use it. The morning there was magical: The morning mists washed over the hotel in waves, a flock of little CA quails burbling and peeping made their way through the parking lot, and the caws, squawks, and hoots of birds and animals rolled down from the tree tops. Plus there's a coffee shop just 250 feet away."

"We had a wonderful stay. The property is gorgeous and the house was great for a group with places for everyone to be together or separate when needed. We only have a few recommendations. First, the driveway is quite steep and curvy. A caution on that especially if you drive a larger vehicle as we did. We never could get the hot tub to heat up, even after contacting the host. "I just needed a place to crash, this turned out to be a good room, good rate, with a few fast food options very near by & seemed like if I had to stay longer there were other things close by like grocery stores & other businesses. The pool looked nice from a distance but I didn’t have time to try it or get a closer look."
