The room was not clean upon check-in, toothpaste in the basin, shower gel and shampoo not filled up and missing lid, shower head was so old the chrome plating was almost nonexistent, black mould in the shower, holes in the walls, stains and crumbs on the sheets. Went to the front desk to ask for it to be cleaned, they ‘cleaned’ it. Went back up and still dirty, the new sheets had stains and the sink still had toothpaste in it. Felt unsafe as a solo...

"We had a very nice stay at the Chill house. Our daughter enjoyed the pool, we the quiet atmosphere and the cleanliness of the place. The host family was always there to help with tips and other things and we rented a motorbike for a very good price. Really recommended!"

"The place was beautiful! I felt very safe walking around at night, and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The pool was awesome, every night of our stay we had a drink with our feet in the pool. It was lovely!"

"I spent nearly a month in February at The Cozy Haven and JoJo and the team were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble As a solo female traveller, I felt safe and the room was excellent (I stayed in the Junior Suite). The property is only a few years old, lovely interior and great space. Internet was fast. Cleaning and maintenance was excellent. It is walking distance to the main Street of Sanur close to plenty of shopping and restaurants and only 29mins to the beach. Only negative is if...

"Loved the outdoor bathroom. The rooms are very comfortable. I like that there are only ~10 villas on site. Lovely breakfast served on the balcony each morning. Friendly staff. The only problem was that there was a lot of plastic and rubbish burn-off every day happening next door. This is not the hotels fault. However, every time we went outside to our bathroom, the smell was really bad and felt very unhealthy breathing it in. "
