"Kippford is a pretty village on a beautiful river estuary and the location of Thornleigh is stunning - a stones throw from the beach where we swam and paddle boarded. The house is very spacious and well equipped with amazing views to appreciate the sunsets. The house is comfortable rather than luxurious but that suited us perfectly as we could relax and feel at home and we have all agreed that we will make Thornleigh an annual event!"

"Exactly as described. Couldn't get wifi code link wouldnt open and telephone number not recognised. We did get it after emailing.next day Maybe leave written instruction in the caravan for heating and wifi . Great selection of games and activity box for children as well as good selection of books Kitchen fully equipped with all things you could need . Good shower too. Everything seems to have been thought of and provided for a good stay.. We enjoyed our stay."

"Lovely cottage which worked well for two families and was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. However, the outside is just as important as the inside from a customer experience point of view and the garden and hedges were in desperate need of cutting and pruning and the gravel drive was quite slippy and dirty from moss and weeds. "We spent a week in May in Cutlar’s Lodge. The weather overall was kind which gave the estate something of an Edwardian summer feeling. Absolutely beautiful with a delicious hint of eccentricity!
