"The cottage was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated with modern kitchen & bathroom, a comfy sofa and bed and beautiful views. It is tucked away in a peaceful location but only a short drive from Derwent Water and Ullswater so there’s plenty to see and do nearby. The secure garden was perfect for our dog. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cottage to couples / singles who want a peaceful location."

Worth a visit
"I opted for the half board option and the food was delicious and the portions more than generous. The staff were very friendly. The dog friendly rooms are in a chalet detached from the hotel which was disapointing but atleast there is plenty of countryside around to walk a dog. Infact, the hotel is surrounded by nature and the property is stunning."
