"Although there was on site restaurant it was closed for bookings and only take away Saturday and Sunday, then beginning of new week it did not open until Thursday and was fully booked both remaining days even though tried booking for Friday on Thursday. Of course there are cooking facilities in the room but when you book a week away you would like ro be able to have a meal without having to drive. Apart from this we really enjoyed our stay in a lovely place."

Muddy Boots – Scarpa.

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (6)
"Lovely apartment, room enough for a family and even the Labrador felt at home. Excellent location by the church, parking and using the facilities were hassle free. Walks by the river and countryside just a few minutes away by foot and paw, many choices for pubs, restaurants and cafes or a short drive out for other options within easy reach. Couldn’t have asked for more, stocked with welcome gifts and comfort, clean and full of nice to have (plus easy to use) tech too. Home from home with a...

Cosy Cottage with a lovely country feel on the edge of the Lake District

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (38)
"Nice place, the DEN once I found it, but to be fair I probably didn’t follow the directions , what can I say? i’m a bloke. The property itself, very nice and secluded on a working farm - we had all manner of animals sharing the patio with us, chickens, roosters (no they didn’t wake us up), ducks, goats, peacocks… Enjoyed it "

A spacious two-bedroom apartment located on the high street of Penrith.

8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (1)
"Great location on the edge of the lakes with the convenience of a town centre location for access to bars and restaurants. Comfortable and clean property. Just be aware that access to the loo is through one of the bedrooms, wasn't a problem for us as I slept through my friends nipping through but could be a problem for others. I would stay here again. Recommend the Raj for curry and the Dockray pub for live music. "

Dunkeld Cottage - ideal for touring the Lake District National Park! WiFi.

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (38)
"The four of us had a wonderful stay in Dunkeld Cottage. The stone cottage was lovely - though the two tall men had to learn to duck at the kitchen door! The living spaces and bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was fantastic, with top-quality Siemens stove top and oven, a good dishwasher and much appreciated washer and dryer. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils to make cooking easy. There was salt, pepper, sugar and tea. The shower had good water pressure and...
