"What a magic place to stay! It was like stepping back in time staying in one of the original baches in the bay. Comfy, clean, quiet and the bach has everything you need. We miss the stunning view!"

"Such a nice spot with fab views. Bach very comfortable including the bed. This bach really has everything you need and more. Enjoyed the spa pool especially since the weather not great. Was great to be able to take our 2 small dogs and have a fenced in section. Cushla very easy and responsive to deal with. Hope to visit again some time. "

"The property was easy to find with accurate directions from Anita.It is fully self contained, tho we found, despite there being tea and coffee facilities, there was no milk provided. Maybe just an oversight,"

"This property was very peaceful and had beautiful views. The decor was lovely however, unfortunately there were a few things still waiting to be fixed at the property which let it down. There is no number on the letterbox and we arrived late at night and had a lot of trouble finding it. I had to dust down cobwebs from ceilings above beds and clean mugs before we could use them. The couch had a lot of sand between the cushions and was not very comfortable. The master bed was extremely soft which...

"The parking lot is very spacious and the garbage is comfortable. Also, there was a Ruakaka stream in front of the garden, so it was good as a healing point. If there is a heat pump, it will be a recommended accommodation for four seasons that I really want to visit even in hot summer and cold winter."

"Lovely bach, excellent location. Would love to make a suggestion to have some pedestal fans available to use at night for sleeping, it’s such a nice warm bach but unbearable for sleep…….we wished we’d brought our own fans. Also Bachcare sent us the wrong lockbox code but we’re lucky they answered the phone with the first call and rectified the problem. Thankyou to the owners for renting out their home so people like us can have a summer holiday at the best location!!"

"Kathryn and Kev are absolutely delightful people, so accommodating. I needed to make change to our booking and they were able to do this without any problem. The house is absolutely beautiful and in a lovely location. The only thing I would change is the eco toilet due to the wind. "The house is very comfortable with 2 good sized bedrooms and big living/dining areas. There are some beautiful pieces of art and an excellent book collection. The view is amazing and the property has some hidden gems. We were here for 3 nights and loved every minute. Host is great! "
