"This was a great place to stay. Very open. I will definetly be back during the summer. The home has way more perks during the summer. Was a very relaxing stay. The garage game room was a very fun touch. Driveway is extremely steep though. Kinda scary if it was icy out. A great stay with an excellent location to be able to get around all the small towns with ease. "

"What a huge blessing this property was to our large family! My mom is in the later stages of dementia and we wanted to get the whole family together in central Texas so she could visit with everyone. But where can you stay when you have 31 family members? This location was perfect for us. Three separate housing spaces, with a bed for each person. There were so many opportunities for all of the grandkids to reconnect and deepen their relationships. With 3 well equipped kitchens, we had everything we needed to feed the hordes. My brother brought his boat, we had fresh catfish, grilled steaks, had a Christmas party, decorated ornaments for the tree, and celebrated my mom so well. The rental was incredibly affordable, and everyone made wonderful memories. Thank you to the property manager, Sharon, for making everything so easy. Thank you to the owners for sharing their beautiful space. Everyone loved it and several family members are wanting to look to this location again in the future.The only suggestion that one of our party had was a floorplan on the vrbo listing would help people to better decide room assignments in advance."

"Multiple families with children gathered to celebrate a birthday. This house was perfect! There were paddle boards, a paddle boat, and kayak for everyone to use on the water. We had the pool heated, so even in the chilly December mornings and evenings everyone was able to enjoy the pool. And the house had more than enough room for the 26 of us! The host was quickly responsive to any questions. Everyone had a wonderful time, and it is definitely a trip that will be remembered! "

"Three families of four for a Holiday Getaway. The river and beach were awesome, pool was well used (spa), grilled, played games in the game room and movies in the theatre. Wonderful visit, highly recommend. "

"We had 13 family members converge here for a Christmas Eve together. It was a beautiful house with a fantastic common area. One of the few dog-friendly places we could find. Excellently equipped kitchen. One of the biggest issues we face every year when looking for houses is that they will be large enough to sleep our group, but then the dining area only sits 6 people, or there are only 2 bathrooms. This house was actually well set up for a large group with large dining tables inside and outside, and a sufficient number of bathrooms. The management was responsive and easy to work with, too. "
