"Large room and good kitchen. In The Cross with buzzing atmosphere. Close to transport. A wonderful old elevator. Parking available $30 per day no limit on in and out. Friendly staff. Yes it's old and has had a refit at some time, but it has character and a bargain at the price. Now my favourite hotel in Sydney."

"Beautiful front and lobby, rooms are clean but really small. So small you had to sit sideways on the toilet! Phone in the room didn’t work. Called reception and asked for a bucket of ice and was told they don’t serve buckets of ice in Australia in hotel rooms lol (I live in Sydney)"

"Excellent position in Victoria St 2 minutes walk from Kings Cross station. Not a “luxury” hotel but certainly value for money. Staff were excellent- welcoming and helpful. Our ensuite room was small but adequate. Being able to open the windows was a real bonus Small and basic kitchen enables preparation of own meals if required. "

"Not as clean as expected. Didn't have flat sheet for the bedding, and saw some bugs in the bedroom. Good that late checkin was smooth. The receptionist was not available in person until very late in AM, but she is very friendly."

"The smell was over powering and the aircon was very very noisy very small room but the staff were kind and tried to help with our issues lt is very close to alot of shops bars and chemist so was well situated also it was quiet Beds and pillow were very comfortable and our bathroom was spot on good actually almost bigger then the room itself"
