"We got delayed in getting to Aviemore before the check in time. The owner was very gracious and set up our room and gave us the code to the door. Breakfast was good but it’s not self service for the fruit, yogurt and juices. You’ll need to find a staff person to get it for you. The location was great for walking and lots of food choices nearby. "

"it was brilliant to stay in the wee hut. It was very charming, clean and cozy for myself and my better half. The owners were very helpful and friendly and gave us good local knowledge about good pubs and lovely walks to take. "Had a lovely 2 night stay in the Cairngorm Suite with my husband and 2 kids (5years & 4 months old). Firstly the location was perfect and in walking distance to countless pubs, restaurants, shops etc. The room itself was beautiful and the bedroom especially was incredibly spacious. The beds were really comfortable and the bedding/duvets etc all felt really good quality. Bathroom was spotless, the shower wasnt very powerful but thats being pernickety. Plenty of storage space throughout the suite...

"We loved our stay here. The location was convenient; the room was clean and comfortable; breakfast was tasty; and most of all, the hosts were amazingly hospitable. Due to our original flight being canceled, we checked in later in the day than we anticipated, and the host was gracious and understanding. We also forgot to bring a power converter (we traveled from the U.S.), and the hosts let us borrow theirs until we were able to buy one locally. We would definitely recommend staying here."

"If I could give the "staff" more than five stars, I would. Anni is the owner and she is very welcoming, as well as funny and kind. The property is very cozy and secluded. I spent almost my entire stay stuck in bed with a cold, but my family tells me the local area and restaurants are great."

"Only stayed for three nights, but thought it was a lovely place. The room decor is very modern/contemporary, which is what I like. Bed and bedding was comfortable, but was only a small double bed, presumably because the room was quite small. We will stay again , but will book a bigger room next time."

"A poor start when they failed to answer any of my emails, but my call was answered. The lodges, especially on the outside, were tired and a bit tatty, but everything was clean and functional. Beds were good and pillows were great. Very well equipped for self-catering and everything we needed for a family of four.
