"Sadly I had to cut my two-night stay short due to impending bad weather and icy roads. The location is a bit remote, but the facility is comfortable and scenic. My room was charming and the continental breakfast very nice. I will definitely return in the summer."

"The cabin has a great layout, with a fantastic open kitchen for cooking and socializing. The owner made some thoughtful seasonal touches, to make the space inviting as well upon arrival. We were able to set up in the backyard on a clear night and take some astrophotography in addition to enjoying the large bon fire pit. It's also just up the road from the city of sandstone, and Banning State Park which has lots of great hiking trails, the Kettle River, and some waterfalls. Would definitely book again and for a longer stay next time!"

"My daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights. We had a family reunion in Moose lake and this location was super convenient. The house was well equipped and clean. We would stay there again. Some of my cousins visited us and are hoping to use the cabin in the future. Thank you"

"The service and friendliness of the gentleman checking us in was great. The room however was very dirty. The shower curtain was moldy and stinky. There was makeup all over 2 of my 3 pillows and there were dead bugs on the floor in the bathroom and by the tv. There was a construction crew staying there and blasted the music in their car, right outside our window until after 2 am. "

"I wanted a cabin in the woods with no one else nearby and that's EXACTLY what this is! We enjoyed hiking the property and finding hidden gems like the tent near the river and peeping the gorgeous fall leaves changing. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!"

"Great experience! Beautiful home and lakeside views. Host was great to deal with. If you’re renting to side by side like we did, one thing to keep in mind is that there is no room for trailers. Which is no fault of the owners. We will for sure be renting again! Thanks for a great stay! "
