"I loved that the proximity between each neighbor was a bigger distance so it didn't feel like we were all forced to stare at each other everyday. The amenities provided was really nice. The only downfall was the location. There wasn't too much to do or see. The kitchen was lacking pots & pans. Alternating between one small pot and one medium sized pan was a struggle, but it was nice that the plates were safe to use as another cooking device (steaming). "I was up there for a photo trip and found this location was centrally located for many great photo spots in the MN and WI area. The property is actually nicer than the photos show especially the exterior photos. The Interior photos are accurate. It’s a cozy place as described, the deck with a small table is a great addition and was perfect. Having a fire pit was perfect as well and was great for evening comfort and entertainment. "2 of my friends and I booked a stay here for a weekend. We spent some time in Duluth but also spent a lot of time in this home. It was comfortable, private, relaxing, quiet, and beautiful!!!! The fireplace and massage chair were an amazing touch (we didn't use the sauna since we got tattoos but love that we had the option to do so!!!). "It was great for our family of four. The kids loved the loft "bridge," and appreciated that there was enough space for us all to separate if we needed to. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The location is great; far enough away from towns to feel like you're away, and near enough to not spend all day driving to parks or the store. The host was appropriately communicative, gave great directions, and answered our questions promptly. We hope to come back to this cabin again!"

Quaint, basic and perfect

"Hotel was confortable but dated which didn’t bother me because we were literally just sleeping there and nothing else. Grab and go breakfast had all the things you expect. Even microwave breakfast sandwitches. The parking lot adjoins to a restaurant. (Did not eat there.) And there is a gas station next door for convience. Bed was comfortable. It was the quitest hotel i have ever been in. And there was even a college baseball team staying there."
